The 2021 Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner on October 23 was a great success with a sold-out attendance. As we weren't able to have a dinner in 2020 the Hall of Fame honoured both 2021 and 2020 inductees
2021 inductees: Matt Pettinger (Ice Hockey), Gwen Spencer Hethey (Shooting). Peter Lawless (Coach - Para-Sports), Roger Skillings (Builder – Multi-Sports)
2020 inductees: Bobby Ross (Rugby), Bob McLaren (Athletics), Joanne Mick (Softball), Donnie Orr (Boxing), Pat Hall (Builder - Multi-Sports), Vancouver Island Soccer League – VISL (Builder – Soccer)
In addition Bob Hope was made an Honourary Life Member for his services to the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame.
We thank all of the dinner sponsors – PISE, Victoria Foundation, Golf for Kids, Delta Hotels Marriott Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort, Greater Victoria Sports Tourism Commission, Norgaard Kratofil and Gordon Food Service.
Thank you also to all of the inductee sponsors – PISE, 94 Forward, Victoria HarbourCats, UVic Vikes, BC Soccer, RunSport and the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame.
