The Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame is pleased to announce that Para-sailor Stacie Louttit has re-joined its Board of Directors after a two-year absence.

Louttit is a two-time Paralympian having competed in in the 2008 Beijing games, where she won bronze, and in the 2012 London Paralympics, finishing 4th. On both occasions she competed in the Skud-18 sailing class with teammate John McRoberts.

PISE (Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence) and the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame will host the 9th Annual Family Sport & Recreation Festival on Saturday, May 5 from 11 am – 3 pm. The festival, which is an exciting free, half-day interactive sport and recreation expo for the family, will be at PISE, located on Camosun College’s Interurban campus.

The Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame announced a new Executive and the appointment of two new board members at their AGM on February 22, 2018. Doug Jennings has taken on the role of President and Fern Johnson and Louise Hodgson-Jones are joining the board. Since the AGM a further two members have been appointed - Jim Swanson and Stacie Louttit.

Victoria enjoys a stellar sports history and we celebrate the many athletes, teams and builders who have contributed to that history.  Our displays are seen at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre (1925 Blanshard St.)  through Gate Three.
