GV Sports Hall of Fame accepting 2020 Inductee Nominations
The Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame is accepting inductee nominations for 2020. There are four categories for induction – Athletes & Teams, Coaches & Officials, Builders and Media. Nominations will be accepted until February 28, 2020.
The 2019 Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner on October 26 was a great success with 200 attendees enjoying an evening of sports celebration.
We thank all of the dinner sponsors – VIMCA, PISE, Victoria Foundation, Golf for Kids, Sysco and Westin Bear Mountain. And to all of the inductee sponsors – Swimming Canada, Fairway Market, PISE, 94 Forward, Victoria HarbourCats, VIMCA, Field Hockey BC and CHEK News.
It was a glittering, nostalgic evening at the Westin Bear Mountain on Saturday night as eight prominent sports individuals and a 100-year old club were inducted into the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame. It was the 26th Annual event.
